Márcia Teresa Neto Moreno


Degree in Environmental Sciences by the University Moderna-Porto and Master in Innovation, Guidance and Educational Assessment by the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of A Coruña.

I am currently a PhD student at the same university and my research work focuses on the study of knowledge, attitudes and behaviors towards a sustainable environment, based on attributed competences of formal and non-formal education, through the Project Rios.

I am manager of Environmental Projects for over 12 years and authorized trainer by the Scientific and Pedagogical Board on “Environmental Education”, “Environmental Sciences”, “Health Education” and “Teaching and Pedagogy”.

I voluntarily belong to the management board of the Portuguese Association of Environmental Education, and I am Management Coordinator of Project Rios, a public participation project performed all over the spanish and portuguese territory.

I collaborate with the Research Group since February 2010 and recently, I collaborate in the European Project “Low Carbon at Work”.

In the academic year 2011-2012, I was teacher of “Health Education and Quality of Life” and “Health Education for Children and Youth” at the School of Education of Bragança.

I am currently Project Manager for Science and Technology in the Science Center of Bragança.
