Pedro Vega Marcote


Degree in Chemistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela and PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of A Coruña (UDC).

Full Professor of Environmental Education for Sustainable Development and Experimental Science Teaching at the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the UDC.

Currently his research interests focus on the field of: Environmental Education and Sustainable Development, the Ecological Footprint and reduction of emissions of Greenhouse Gases, the implementation of Agenda 21 at the University and Municipalities (A21L) and in Experimental Science Teaching. Author and reviewer of books and journals publications in the educational and scientific-environmental field, and editor of Global Environment Outlook (GEO-4) “Environment for Development, United Nations Environment Programme. United Nations (UNEP-UN)”.
